There’s a Giant Rosé Picnic Coming to New York City This Summer

Rosé, food, music, and fireworks — what could be better?

Nothing says “summer is here” quite like a bunch of people drinking rosé in all-pink and white clothing. That’s exactly what happens every year at Pinknic on Governors Island in New York City, and it’s back for another year of Instagrammable moments and A LOT of wine.

The rosé-filled picnic will take place on June 30 and July 1, and it looks like the only way we personally want to spend our Saturday and Sunday. In addition to rosé (of course), the VIP bars will be serving up rosé champagne and frosé! For the first time, the bars will also be shaking up other pink cocktails all day and night.

With all that wine, you’ll need some good food to soak it all up. While the lineup has yet to be announced, we know that there will be NYC restaurants and chefs onsite fueling you between drinks.

What makes this more than just a boozed-up picnic is the live music! This year’s lineup features Klingande, Autograf, Hayden James, Elderbrook, Aeroplane, Great Good Fine OK, Willy Monfret, and C.M.A. All of the artists will be performing both days, so no worries if your liver can only take one of them.

Everyone is required to dress in pink and/or white and be 21 years or older. Unfortunately, you can’t bring your own alcohol into the event, so make sure you bring a credit or debit card with you (it’s cash-free)! However, outside food is allowed. Oh, and if you get a VIP Pool Lounge ticket, you can bring your suit and go swimming. Ugh, we love you, Pinknic.

Cheers to a night of rosé, music, fireworks, and an unforgettable summer weekend!
